Following in 's stead, I have written a 'make your own' Narekan kit ^^

EDIT:
Added information on naming and information on other physical attributes.

You all know Whisper? That's what she is - a Narekan, from Nareku.

So here's the info ^^ For anyone who wants to give it a go:

Narekan's come in two forms, Gifted and non-gifted. The Gifted are rare, about 15 to 25 per generation, Whisper is one of her generations Gifted.

Colours

Non-gifted:
Hair: Brown, Black, Dark green
Tail: Same as hair
Eyes: Brown, Green, Blue
Skin: Tan, Brown, Dark green

Gifted:
Hair: Any colour - often very bright
Tail: Same as hair
Eyes: Any colour - often very bright, no iris
Skin: Any bright or unatural colour

Physical

Hair: Any length, any style - both male and female.
Ear: Elf like, long, thin - with well defined inner area.
Eyes: Almond shaped
Teeth: Incissors longer than a Human - when pissed off, they grow longer.
Tail: Prehensile, as long as the Narekan's legs - brush adds 3"

Build:

Non-Gifted:
Male - Average 7 ft - body shape varies as with Humans
Female: Average 6 ft - body shape varies as with Humans

Gifted:
Male - Average 7 1/2 ft - body shape always peak condition
Female - Average 6 1/2 ft - body shape always peak condition

GIFTED ONLY:

Horns: The shape of horn is dictated by the personality and only grows after the age of fifteen.

Wings: Shape and style of wings dictated by personality and power wielded. Non-permanant - vanish/appear with need.

Birthmarks: All Gifted are born with a small symbol in the centre of their forehead. The symbol is related to the element they wield. ie: Whisper was born with Water, her birthmark is a teardrop. Chronos wields Time, his birthmark looks like an hourglass.

Abilities:

All Narekans are naturally strong, fast and agile - all Narekans have excellent hearing, eyesight and sense of smell.

Male: If they so choose - can take up the arts of war and learn Swordsmanship, Archery and Hand to hand combat.
Female: If they so choose - can take up the arts of healing and learn Alchemy and Medicine as well as Hand to hand combat.

Some Narekans choose to specialise in the Technology of the world. The technology is incredibly advanced and works in harmony with nature, so much so that a Human would believe it to be some form of 'magic.'

Abilities of the Gifted:
All and only gifted Narekans control a single element.

The most common are Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Less common are Soul, Void, Light and Time. Even rarer are Life and Death.

The Gifted are able to talk to one another telepathically - the most powerful can also read the minds of the non-gifted.

All Gifted (both male and female) are taught the arts of war. Swordsmanship, archery, hand to hand combat. All are taught Alchemy and Medicine. Some decide to follow the technology of the world.

Clothing etc:

Cities: Think 'Lord of The Rings' Elvish wear. Decadent, sweeping. For both male and female clothing.

Elsewhere: Medieval, practical. With a hint of present day Human fashion. Decadent only on special occassions.

Other: Those who choose to follow technology tend to have more 'modern' style clothing.

Accessories: Both male and female have an intrinsic love for jewelry. This includes rings, braceletts, necklaces and ear-piercings. Occasionnally nose, belly-button or eyebrow piercings.

Weapons: NO GUNS Nareku is a highly advanced planet, but they have long since given up such weaponry. They feel it is abhorant to kill/injure without using their own physical abilities.

Non-gifted: Swords are a must for any Narekan trained in it's use. Most carry knives - including females. Children do not carry weapons, at the age of fifteen, most male children are given their first weapon.

Gifted: Swords are a must for both male and female at all times. Throwing knives if wanted. Bow and arrows if wanted. Staff if wanted.

All females have a double barrel first name - taking on the second half of thier mothers name as well as the sirname of their father/husband.

The second half of the female name is always shorter than the first half.

NEW:
In regards to names.

I forgot to mention that though my characters are known as 'Whisper' and 'Chronos' and so forth, these are just nick-names gleaned from the powers they wield.

Whisper's real name is Anna-Lu and Chronos' real name is Daryn.

Please keep this in mind when naming your character.

Male Non-Gifted:
[link] - this guy is not common - he is one of the rare Narekans who follow technology. His clothing is not normal Narekan as the character is a 'dimension hopper' stealing bits and bobs from other realities.
