Featuring the Marquis de Carabas, from Neverwhere, written by Neil Gaiman.
The Marquis has always been one of my favorite characters, and I really like the graphic-novel version of him. His skin is actually pitch-black, his lips bright red and his hair pure white. He looks fantastic. This is just a quick practice sketch, trying to get the feel of my japanese brush pen. It's fun but fiddly to use, I prefer to write with it (in japanese). |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board.
